NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti unable to run Shadow of the Tomb Raider with 60fps at 1080p with RTX On

In this quick video before i entered GamesCom there was already a rumour spreading about the RTX 2080 Ti.
The newly released Turing architecture Graphics Cards from NVidia called the RTX Series are especially designed for Raytracing.
As of now it looks like this new technology is totally not optimized yet to its full potential as it only runs between 30-45 FPS @ 1080P
On the Ray tracing enabled game called Shadow of the Tomb Raider they noticed a low framerate as a result of a non optimized feature.
The demo’s you have seen so far were just to show how it will work out in the future.

As of now, it may sound too early to purchase these GPU’s but they will be worth it.
They are already available on Amazon:

  1. This isnt a bad thing. To those who understand ray tracing really well (I am not one of them) the fact that it can do real time ray tracing AT ALL is really impressive. It is incredibly demanding and 30fps is leaps and bounds ahead of what any previous card could manage. But you still probably shouldnt buy it.

  2. My opinion is everything new that comes out that's big starts out slow look at 4k gaming when it first came out there is not a lot of 4k content at all now it's everywhere Ray tracing will be widespread like 4k is it will just start off slow just like 4k did
